On Monday I made a Kennings Poem. I finished writing the Poem then I published it. After that I changed the backround colour and changed the font. Then for the second slide I found an image of a tree and inserted it, then I found an image of the animal I was doing. I also added a bowl filled with water and a house. I added 2 clouds and a sun.
I participated in the ako hiko poetry slam. We also looked at some Kennings poems and Haiku poems.

Kia ora Mina. I love how you've made your kenning poem into a riddle. The clues were great. I thought it might be a tūī so I was pretty close. I won't give away the answer for your other readers.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Mina. I had never read a Kennings poem before and really enjoyed this one. I liked it that you added the mystery of having to guess. So my guess is a Parakeet because they can imitate voices and are quick learners. The other bird I was thinking of is the Kea as they are really intelligent. I will ask Mr Margetts to tell me what it was. Good luck with your blogging this year.
